My great grandfather Harry Craik Smith, was a hobby artist who lived in Kent.  His original hand paintings remained untouched for many years in his small scrap books.  Harry painted with watercolour and milk to preserve the bright colours, which are still vivid today.  Most of his paintings are dated within 1942-1946.  I am now digitally tracing and colouring some of his pieces by hand to bring his art out of the scrapbooks.
